Jillian MasseyJillian Massey Toy DriveJillian Massey

From her Jillian Paige-You got this girl facebook page: "Jillian closed her eyes at around 8pm tonight and opened her wings to fly home to her tribe of angels today."

A 5-year old Lehigh Valley girl, famous for her generous spirit, has lost her battle with cancer. Jillian Massey, know to friends and family as Sassy Massey, succumbed to brain and spine cancer Monday. Massey organized a toy drive for her friends at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Parkettes has a box in the front lobby. The last day is December 13, 2017, to collect toys for the Sassy Massey Toy Drive. You can also donate through the Sassey Massey Toy Drive website HERE.

 

 

 

 

 


Parkettes 50th Reunion

Team Parkettes' fundraising campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has kicked off! Visit HERE to make an online donation. Also, if your team is competing at The Parkettes Invitational this weekend be sure to look out for a specially designed GK Leotard on sale. 100% of the proceeds from this limited edition leotard go straight to our campaign to fight blood cancers!

Amelia, Meredith and AlexWe want to say congratulations to Amelia, Meredith & Alex on their nomination for Students of the Year. Students of the Year is a 7-week fundraising competition benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The students who raise the most funds, in 7-weeks, will be named Students of the Year and will win a scholarship to the college or university of his/her choice. Join us in congratulation and wishing these girls the best of luck! This will start in January 2017, PLEASE look out for fundraisers. Jason KushyIn the Spotlight- Jason Kushy - July 2016

Jason Kushy on our boys team built these walls in the gym for his Eagle Scout project. Over 70% of the materials were donated for this project that took 219 hours! Thank you to Jason, volunteers and Tom Hartz contracting for making this possible! Jason is now one of the 4% of boys who have made it to the Eagle ranking!

 

 

 

 


BaileyIn the Spotlight- Bailey - May 2016

15 year old Bailey is from Mercy School for Special Learning. She participates in the work experience program and helps out in the Parkette office once a week. Bailey has been able to help with a variety of tasks this year.

Congratulations!Simone Williams and Amanda Reiss of the Lehigh Valley @ Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles

So proud of Simone Williams and Amanda Reiss! Simone received 5 medals including 1st place in Uneven Bars and Female All Around. Amanda received 6 medals including 1st place in Gymnastics Group Ball and Rhythmic Hoop.

D'AngeloIn the Spotlight- Volunteer D'Angelo - March 2015


D'Angelo attends Mercy Special Learning Center (room 5). His job coach through the Work Experience Program at Mercy accompanies him to his "Parkette job" every week where he helps us out with office task.  We LOVE having D'Angelo help us out every week and look forward to his infectious smile and personality!
